Our Story

In 2024, the Cubillet family, Mariela (mother), Maylena and Ernesto (children), along with family friend Yuni, set out on a mission to bring the flavors and culture of their home country of Cuba to the Upper Valley.

Coming from different professional backgrounds, including chemical engineering, medicine, and international development, the four of them re-imagined their paths to pursue something deeply personal: sharing a piece of home with their community.

What began as an idea quickly became Little Havana, a space built on tradition, hard work, and a love of bringing people together. Every detail, from the recipes to the atmosphere, reflects their roots and their commitment to creating an experience that feels warm, vibrant, and authentic.

For the Cubillet family and Yuni, Little Havana is more than a restaurant. It’s a place to celebrate culture, connect with others, and share the food and spirit of Cuba with everyone who walks through the door.
